How Do Tankless Water Heaters Work?

Unlike traditional water heater systems that heat up water and then store it in a tank, on-demand water heaters don't need a tank. They don't produce hot water and then store it for later use.

Instead, they consist of a unit that resembles a large backpack that mounts to a wall. The water heater is packed with copper coils and heating elements. As water flows through the coils, the elements heat it up to your desired temperature, which can be up to 60 degrees C!

Therefore, as soon as the water heater heats up, which is a matter of seconds, it can produce an endless supply of hot water. It won't turn off until you turn the water off, which means as much hot water as your heart desires.
